MCC / ADMCC Approved CCTV Company in Abu Dhabi

Officially approved by the Abu Dhabi Monitoring & Control Center to design, install and maintain CCTV across Abu Dhabi.

Credentials

ADMCC Approved Since 2016

Quicknet Computers is officially approved by the Abu Dhabi Monitoring & Control Center (ADMCC) — the Abu Dhabi government authority that regulates CCTV and security system installations in the Emirate.

ADMCC approval is normally required for CCTV in commercial premises in Abu Dhabi (confirm the current requirement with ADMCC), and ADMCC-approved companies follow design, installation, retention and audit requirements.

⚠ Note on ADMCC approval: Quicknet is an ADMCC-approved installer. This approval qualifies us to carry out CCTV installations that meet ADMCC's requirements. However, final ADMCC site-approval certification is issued by ADMCC itself, as the government authority — we are not the certifying body. We install to ADMCC standards and submit the completed system for official inspection. We do not make claims of a "gold partnership" or "platinum accreditation" — these tiers do not reflect how the ADMCC approval programme actually works.

What ADMCC Means

Why ADMCC Approval Matters

Government Authority

ADMCC is the official Abu Dhabi government regulator for CCTV.

Normally Required for Commercial

Normally required for CCTV in Abu Dhabi commercial premises; confirm with ADMCC.

Design Standards

Camera placement, retention and quality follow ADMCC standards.

Engineers of an ADMCC-Approved Company

Installation is carried out by engineers of an ADMCC-approved company.

Periodic Audits

ADMCC conducts site audits to maintain approval status.

Technical Requirements

Core ADMCC Technical Requirements for CCTV Systems

ADMCC sets a range of technical installation requirements to ensure CCTV systems are usable as evidence and accessible to the authorities. The detailed scope depends on the premises type (retail / office / warehouse / financial / educational) and is set finally by ADMCC, but the common requirements include:

Camera Placement

Mandatory coverage of entrances, exits, cashier points, main aisles and sensitive areas. Camera positions follow the approved design and cannot be changed later without notification.

Recording Retention

Minimum typically 31 days for general premises, up to 90 days for sensitive facilities. Recordings must be retrievable, complete and clear enough for identification.

Image Quality

Camera resolution, lighting and frame rate must be sufficient to identify people and vehicles. Full HD or 4K cameras depending on the area, with night vision where required.

System Cybersecurity

Strong, managed passwords, regular firmware updates, disabling default passwords, and never exposing the NVR/DVR to the public internet without a VPN or additional protection layers.

Network Segregation

Isolating the CCTV network from other IT networks using dedicated VLANs, reducing the attack surface and protecting other business data.

Maintenance & Audit

An AMC with an approved installer, periodic checks on image quality and recording integrity, and fast fault response to maintain approval status.

The requirements above reflect common industry practice for ADMCC installations. The official, detailed scope is set by ADMCC at the time of inspection and depends on the premises category.

How We Deliver ADMCC-Approved CCTV Installation

Our ADMCC-approved CCTV installation process at Quicknet has 6 stages, designed to deliver a system that passes inspection the first time:

Site Visit & Scoping

Technical Design

Detailed design drawings showing camera locations, viewing angles, cabling and NVR placement, with specifications aligned to ADMCC standards.

Written Quotation

A transparent, itemised quote — branded equipment, labour, initial commissioning and documentation, plus AMC. No hidden fees.

Installation & Testing

Professional installation by engineers trained on ADMCC standards, full testing of image quality and recording flow, and a trial run to confirm readiness.

Approval Documentation

Preparing all documentation ADMCC requires — as-built installation drawings, test reports and equipment lists — and submitting them for review.

Inspection & Ongoing Support

Supporting the customer through the ADMCC inspection, addressing any feedback quickly, and providing ongoing AMC to keep the approval status current over time.

Supported Brands

ADMCC-Compatible Brands We Install

ADMCC approval is tied to technical system standards — resolution, recording retention, cybersecurity and compatibility with the ADMCC network — not to any specific brand. Quicknet is an independent, brand-neutral installer — we install industry-leading brands and help you choose the right one for your needs:

Hikvision & Dahua

The two most common brands in the Middle East. A wide model range, competitive pricing, and tested compatibility with the ADMCC network.

Axis Communications

The gold standard for sensitive facilities — banks, government premises, critical infrastructure. High build quality and strong cybersecurity.

Bosch

A strong choice for large projects and industrial premises — proven reliability, advanced video analytics, and long-term support.

UNV (Uniview)

A good-value option for small and medium commercial projects — good quality at a competitive price, with ADMCC compatibility.

We recommend the most suitable brand based on site requirements, budget and customer preference. We do not claim an exclusive certified partnership with any single brand — we supply all the brands above through UAE distribution channels.

What does it mean for a company to be ADMCC-approved for CCTV in Abu Dhabi?
ADMCC approval (Abu Dhabi Monitoring & Control Center) means a company is officially authorised by the Abu Dhabi government authority to design, supply, install and maintain CCTV systems to ADMCC's defined standards for camera placement, recording retention and image quality. Quicknet Computers has been an ADMCC-approved installer since 2016. Important clarification: we are an approved installer — but we are not the body that issues ADMCC approval certificates. The approval itself is issued by ADMCC as the government authority.
Is ADMCC approval mandatory for installing cameras in Abu Dhabi?
ADMCC approval is normally required for installing CCTV systems in commercial premises in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi; confirm the current requirement with ADMCC. ADMCC-approved companies follow requirements for design, installation, recording retention and audits. Installation by a non-approved company can result in approval being refused at inspection, requiring the work to be redone.
What are the core ADMCC requirements for CCTV systems?
Core ADMCC requirements include: camera placement following the approved design (entrances/exits, cashier points, sensitive areas), recording retention of at least 31 days (up to 90 days for sensitive premises), image quality sufficient for identification, network segregation from other systems, strong password management, regular maintenance, and enabling authority access on request. The detailed scope depends on the premises type and is set finally by ADMCC.
Do you guide customers through the ADMCC approval application?
Yes. As an ADMCC-approved installer, we prepare the technical system design, submit project documentation for review, coordinate the technical inspection, and support the customer through to final site approval. We deliver the system ready to meet ADMCC requirements. To be clear: the decision to issue final approval rests with ADMCC — we prepare and submit to the approval standards, we do not issue the certificates ourselves.
Which camera brands does ADMCC approval support?
ADMCC approval is tied to technical system standards — resolution, recording retention, cybersecurity and compatibility with the ADMCC network — not to any specific brand. We install industry-leading brands including Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Bosch and UNV, among others, choosing the right brand for the site's requirements and budget. Quicknet is an independent, brand-neutral installer — we recommend the system that best suits your needs.
