The fines can range from 50,000 AED to 200,000 AED. MCC also takes strict actions against the places that did not comply with MCC. The Monitoring and Control Centre have complete authority to seize and confiscate any devices that does not get the approval of MCC.

Not every staff could access the monitoring system, only authorised personals could access these systems. Anyone who are misusing the system would be punished harshly. The MCC also restrict the installation of cameras inside the work places for privacy reasons. There are regulations to affix cameras in receptions, cash counters and selling desks also to monitor the activities in these areas by staffs and customers.
